About Shaun Ward Photography

One of the main themes that run through my photographic work is to try and tell a story with my images. Whether that would be a visual representation of what actually takes place at a racecourse or capturing the emotion of a wedding day the approach will be similar, only the subjects change. And it is the different subjects that makes every story unique.

This is why I am more interested in capturing your story in a way that will rekindle your memories when you come to look at your images in future years. Your lasting memory will be the emotions that ebbed and flowed throughout the day, the moment your uncle shed a tear, when the minister stumbled on his words or how the flower girls looked so proud in the chosen dresses. It i my job to capture that.

As I have already said my approach will be the same for all visual storytelling. I am interested in people and emotions, that is what makes me love doing what I do. Looking through my images I hope you can see the passion that I have for my images. You can guarantee I will be bringing that spirit to the next wedding, portrait session or personal photo essay.
